Optimized Internal Fluid Dynamics

The GEN5 features reworked internal flow paths to improve air–fuel mixture quality and combustion stability. These refinements result in smoother power delivery, quicker throttle response, and highly consistent performance over long finals. By enhancing internal efficiency, REDS has increased usable power while preserving the excellent fuel mileage the Superveloce line is known for. Revised Crankshaft & Cylinder Timing

Both the crankshaft and cylinder port timing have been redesigned to boost mid-range punch and high-RPM performance. The engine delivers stronger top-end speed with a wider, more usable powerband while keeping fuel consumption unchanged compared to the original Superveloce. This balance of increased performance and controlled efficiency ensures racers gain speed without sacrificing runtime. The refined timing also maintains excellent drivability, making the engine responsive yet predictable under varying track conditions.

9mm Carburetor & Full DLC Configuration

The introduction of the 9mm carburetor increases overall engine performance while offering a wider and more forgiving tuning window. Setup is easier and more stable, allowing racers to dial in performance quickly for different track layouts. The engine returns to a full DLC configuration, featuring a Black Diamond DLC crankshaft and DLC backplate for reduced friction and exceptional reliability. Combined with the included 2143 X-One Torque Pipe, this combo delivers smooth acceleration, strong top speed, and repeatable race-ready performance.
