The Reds Gen3 V8 4-Pole 1/8 Brushless Sensored Motor was developed together with Factory Team drivers to guarantee the best performance and latest technology. REDS 1/8th GEN3 motors have been specifically developed to provide exceptional power, superior smoothness and driveability in combination with high efficiency and low temperature operation. The goal was to make the GEN3 motors similar to Reds Racing S Line Nitro engines in terms of driveability and smoothness.
OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE & EFFICIENCY
The Gen3 motors feature a redesigned stator to improve heat dissipation, efficiency and to decrease iron loss, a redesigned rotor for better driveability and smooth power delivery and a heavily vented case to increase heat dissipation efficiency. This vented and finned CNC-machined 6061 T6 Billet aluminium ribbed heatsink can, allows Gen3 motors to work at very low temperature in all conditions ensuring exceptional reliability. The perfectly balanced 4-Pole Neodymium sintered rotors have been developed by Reds engineers to improve power delivery in an effort to achieve superior smoothness and driveability.
The Reds Racing Gen3 line features an extremely high level of accuracy and quality. Every motor is hand-tested and hand-inspected to achieve the best product standards on the market. REDS V8 Gen3 features a dual sensor port design to make it suitable for every type of car layout. Capable of both sensored and sensorless operations, the Gen3 line is ideal for 1/8 Buggy, Truggy, GT and On-Road categories and is available in two KV options of 1900KV and 2100KV.
